Local knowledge
How Fulham was built, and why it matters on cleaning day
Fulham filled up quickly once the trains arrived. On 1 March 1880 the District Railway opened stations at Walham Green, Parsons Green and Putney Bridge, and Walham Green only became Fulham Broadway in 1952. Many SW6 terraces were laid out in the decades either side of 1880, so plenty of homes here are well over a century old, with sash windows and chimney breasts.
The oldest planned estate is Moore Park, between Fulham Road and King's Road, laid out in the 1850s and finished the following decade. Its owner, J. Percival Maxwell, lived at Moore Park in County Waterford, and Maxwell Road and Waterford Road run through it today. The houses are two or three storeys of stock brick with stucco details, and most keep their sash windows. Further west, the streets either side of the northern end of Wandsworth Bridge Road, such as Bovingdon Road and Perrymead Street, went up between 1888 and 1904. The council's conservation profile notes that most have since gained a mansard attic floor and basement rooms with open lightwells, roughly doubling their size.
By the river, west of the Hurlingham Club, a row of blocks between six and nine storeys faces the Thames, including the mansion blocks of Hurlingham Court, from around 1900, and Rivermead Court, from the 1920s. At the other end of Fulham, North End Road market has traded six days a week since the 1880s. Each asks something different of a cleaner, so we ask about floors and access as well as bedrooms.

End of Tenancy Cleaning · Fixed price from £120
Moving out of a Fulham flat or house
Our end of tenancy clean has a fixed price set by bedrooms and bathrooms, from £120 for a room in a shared flat. A studio is £150, one bedroom with one bathroom is £199 and a three-bedroom house with two bathrooms is £329. Products, equipment and the oven, inside and out, are included, and carpet cleaning is an optional extra.
In an extended SW6 terrace, allow for the rooms below street level. A basement bedroom or kitchen with a lightwell window holds grime from the steps outside, and a mansard bedroom adds another flight of stairs. Leaving a flat on the North End Road market stretch, between Dawes Road and Jerdan Place? The stalls trade Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm, so a Sunday move avoids them. Report anything the agent flags within 72 hours of the end of the clean and we re-clean it free, as long as the property was empty during the clean and nobody used it afterwards.
Tip: When you book, mention any basement room, lightwell window or mansard bedroom. They add stairs and awkward glass, and knowing in advance lets us plan the order of work.

Deep Cleaning · £23 per hour, minimum 3 hours
Deep cleaning Fulham's older and larger houses
Deep cleaning is charged at £23 per cleaner per hour, with a 3-hour minimum. From 6 hours the work is split between two cleaners, so a longer job finishes sooner, and we bring the products and equipment. As a guide, a two-bedroom flat takes 5–8 hours (£115–£184) and a three-bedroom house takes 6–10 hours (£138–£230).
Size can be misleading in SW6. A terrace off Wandsworth Bridge Road that has gained a basement and a mansard may have twice the floor area of a neighbour that has not, so count every floor when you ask for a price. In the 1850s houses of Moore Park, a deep clean spends its time on sash windows, the tops of doors and the joinery around chimney breasts. A mansion flat by the river usually has no stairs inside, so more of the hours go on the kitchen, bathroom and floors. Tell us within 24 hours if anything was missed and a cleaner returns to sort it.
Tip: Leave a short note of the rooms that matter most on each floor. In a four-storey Fulham house, the cleaners can then start where you want them and spend the hours in the right order.

Home Cleaning · From £17 per hour, minimum 2 hours
A regular cleaner for your Fulham home
Regular home cleaning costs £17 an hour weekly or fortnightly, £18 every three weeks and £19 monthly, with a 2-hour minimum per visit. You keep the same cleaner each time, working with your own products and equipment unless you add ours for a one-off £7 and £23. A two-bedroom flat usually needs 3–4 hours a visit. Our cleaners are DBS-checked and self-employed, and we hold £1 million public liability insurance.
SW6 is one of the districts SW Clean works in most, and homes here vary a great deal. In a riverside mansion flat everything is on one level, so the hours go on the kitchen, bathroom and floors. In a terrace with a basement and an attic room, the stairs take time, and a second vacuum kept upstairs saves carrying one up and down. Visits run between 8am and 8pm, seven days a week, and you can move or cancel one free with 48 hours' notice.
Tip: Use the free client portal to leave notes for your cleaner, such as which bathroom needs the most time this week. Past visits and the cleaner's before and after photos are there too.

Homes we clean
Fulham properties and what we focus on
Moore Park's mid-Victorian terraces
Laid out in the 1850s between Fulham Road and King's Road, these two- and three-storey stock-brick houses mostly keep their sash windows. We give time to window boards, sash runners, doors and the skirting in narrow hallways.
Extended terraces off Wandsworth Bridge Road
Built between 1888 and 1904, most of these houses now have a mansard attic floor and basement rooms lit by open lightwells. That can mean four floors and windows below street level, so tell us about every floor when you book.
Riverside mansion blocks at Hurlingham
West of the Hurlingham Club, blocks of six to nine storeys face the Thames, and top-floor flats at Rivermead Court sit in a mansard roof with dormer windows. With everything on one level, the time goes on kitchens, bathrooms, sills and floors.
Every client gets a free client portal to see visits, before and after photos and invoices, leave notes for the cleaner and message our office.
FAQ
Cleaning in Fulham: questions
Which day is best to move out of a flat near North End Road market?
The market trades Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, between Dawes Road and Jerdan Place, so Sunday is the day the stalls are not there. Our cleaners work 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, so the end of tenancy clean can follow on Sunday afternoon or Monday, before the check-out.
Does a basement or loft room change the end of tenancy price?
The fixed price is set by the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, wherever they are in the house. A basement used as extra space, a balcony or a garage is listed as an extra, so add it when you book and the price you confirm includes it. Lightwell windows and dormers are cleaned on the inside as part of the job.
How long does a deep clean take in a Hurlingham mansion flat?
A two-bedroom flat usually needs 5–8 hours and a three-bedroom flat 6–10 hours, with two cleaners sharing anything from 6 hours. Top-floor flats in Rivermead Court have dormer windows set in the roof, which add a little time. Tell us the floor and the state of the kitchen and bathrooms, and we suggest the hours.
Do I need my own products for a regular cleaner in Fulham?
Yes, unless you add ours. Products cost a one-off £7 and equipment a one-off £23, and eco-friendly products are available on request. In a house spread over three or four floors, a vacuum on each main level makes every visit quicker.
What if the letting agent finds something after my clean?
Send us the agent's points within 72 hours of the end of the clean. If they are things we should have done, we come back and re-clean them at no charge. The property must have been empty of your belongings while we cleaned and unused afterwards, so lock up and return the keys once we finish.
